More information I understand

District Flues and Stoves offers a full set of chimney and fireplace services across Norfolk and Suffolk, from supplying and installing wood-burning stoves through to chimney sweeping, CCTV surveys, flue lining, twin-wall flue systems, bespoke fireplaces and chimney caps. All work is HETAS-compliant.

What services do you offer?

Our day-to-day work falls into seven areas. Each one is covered in more detail on its own page.

Wood burner and multi-fuel stove installation

Supply and full HETAS-compliant installation of wood-burning and multi-fuel stoves from leading UK and European brands. Every install includes a HETAS Certificate of Compliance and is notified to your local Building Control on your behalf.

Flue lining and installation

Stainless steel Multiflex flue liners for existing chimneys, plus twin-wall stainless steel insulated flues for properties without a chimney. Both options improve safety and efficiency and meet current building regulations.

Bespoke fireplaces

Custom-built fireplaces designed around the room, with options for hearth materials, finishes and stove combinations. We handle the build and the install end-to-end.

Chimney sweeping

ICS-accredited chimney sweeps, with a written certificate on completion. Most insurers require an annual sweep on active chimneys — we provide what the insurer needs.

Chimney CCTV surveys

Internal inspection of your chimney using a CCTV camera fed down from the top. We walk you through what we find on screen, with no hard sell at the end.

Chimney caps, cowls and bird guards

Bird guards, rain guards, anti-downdraught cowls and redundant flue caps. Stops debris, animals and weather getting into your chimney.

Safe access — cherry picker and scaffolding

We own our own cherry picker. All operators are IPAF-qualified (the UK licensing standard for powered access platforms). Where a cherry picker can't reach — narrow lanes, low trees, walled gardens — we erect scaffolding instead.
